
We have a robin guarding her nest just above our cabin porch. She is easily spooked and often flies out when we come up the steps. But today when she flew away the nest went toppling off the eaves and the tiny blue eggs rolled out.
Nick Aster told me there was nothing we could do about it.
BUT WE HAVE TO TRY I said. YOU NEVER KNOW.
Since they were uncracked I put them back in the nest and replaced it and guess what….she came back! We’ll see what happens, but I am hopeful. And somehow this feels like a metaphor for the world right now. Things often feel hopeless BUT WE HAVE TO TRY.
