Books are expensive, particularly hardcovers. I often feel guilty when I put hardcover books out into the world because of their high price points and because I know the price of everything has crept up to unsustainable levels. This is just one of many reasons that I love libraries and e-books and why I am constantly filling my local Little Free Libraries with the many, many books I am sent on a regular basis (after I read them of course).

I really do get sent quite a lot of books. Many times I receive multiple copies after I have blurbed or reviewed a book, or sometimes even just put it on my Instagram. Now I want to share the bounty with you. I LOVE sharing books with people. When friends come to my house they will never leave empty-handed. I will always pack up a reusable Target bag with at least two or three books I think they will enjoy. This may be the reason people stop by my house so often, that and I always have a lot of cheese here.

Each week I will be giving books away to three of my paid subscribers. We will choose at random (I will put names in an actual cowboy hat) from people who comment on a post each week. I’m hoping this becomes a fun way to spread some love for the books I have been enjoying AND a way to get more books into your hands.

To take advantage of giveaways and other fun perks please consider becoming a paid subscriber.

This week we have an early copy of MY new book You Were Always Mine, Alex Auder’s Don’t Call Me Home (which I have already raved about here) and Nicole Baart’s The Long Way Back.
