Happymaking things
Fat bears, Backstreet Boy workouts, male cheerleaders and the raw truth about Love Actually
Everyone was annoying this week.
Ok…not absolutely everyone. I did get to have a wonderful belated birthday dinner with my girlfriends Tara and Jenelle.
And today I am going to do a parallel work date with my friend Sarah where we computer sit near one another for the morning. This text sums up me right now.
But pretty much everyone else and everything else was really irritating this week. I’m psyched it’s Friday.
This week I tried really hard to re-train my social media algorithm. I avoided interacting with any content I found toxic and liked and shared the hell out of things that made me snort laugh.

I also stopped following news organizations on social. I don’t want it to be a newsfeed. I am a grown ass woman who knows how to find the news I want. I don’t want it served to me when I am trying to parse which bear is the fattest?
And it is working…slowly, but surely. I wanted to share some of my favorite laugh out loud moments from social media this week as a reminder that this platform does not have to be a toxic space. It could be lovely, in fact, if only we would let it.
