The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, a reality show that will chronicle the strange soft swinging saga that rocked the world of Mormon MomTok a couple of years ago, is hitting Hulu on Sept. 6.
The series is set in the “scandalous” world of a group of Mormon mom influencers, who implode when they get caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines. Now, their sisterhood is shook to its core. Faith, friendship and reputations are all on the line. Will #MomTok be able to survive and continue to give the rulebook a run for its money, or will this group fall from grace?
I’ve gotten a bunch of shocked emails and DMs about this the fact that this even exists. But I couldn’t be less surprised. The number one thing to remember about influencers like these ones (and not all influencers…but a portion of them) is that THEY WANT THE ATTENTION. THEY WANT TO BE CELEBRITIES. They’ve been waiting for this moment ever since they did their first TikTok dance with a newborn baby.
In fact these women are the next generation of celebrities and they probably have more influence than many current celebrities do.

So who are these fame-hungry mamas who are so desperate for exposure they are willing to be on a show that actively promotes itself as dissecting a soft swinging scandal?
The first thing you need to know is that one of them is related to Ben Affleck. Because, obviously. And her name is actually Jennifer Affleck. How do we think J.LO feels about that? Just kidding, J. Lo had bigger things to worry about.
Another important thing to note is that most cast members have already been divorced and remarried…..a fascinating twist on the so-called “traditional lifestyle.” They are also quite serious about being entrepreneurs and are clearly using this to boost their businesses. Again, #tradwife be damned.
