It Girl! I just saw Allison Pataki speak, and I love how I learn so much so effortlessly from her books. (Fave cool women: Marjorie Post and Margaret Fuller.) I was in Park City skiing for New Year and went to the Crater and had no idea how close Ballerina Farm was! It looks like you're having a phenomenal time. More about the hair, please. I do not understand why regular people do that to themselves.
Love the last line! Let's say whatever the f*ck we want. Time to rant and rave and not be quiet and overthrow the patriarchy this year :) Also, I too, had a crush on Adrian Grenier back in the day LOL (blame the movie Drive Me Crazy)
I cannot wait to read about time on the ground in Midway. My kid was in Utah for school last year and my monthly visits were so weird with the women around me looking the same. And women my age grandmothers. It's complicated because I met some really nice people, and the state takes good care of the community/kids/families. Their libraries, parks, and rec centers with pools are abundant and nice. It's nice to see 'family values' funded. It's a recurring re-centering of the self's needs: we discover we're depleted, unappreciated, overcommitted, step back and focus more on ourselves then gradually the tide rises again and we're gasping for breath. Glad you treated yourself to a break. And no matter what we do, we'll feel guilt so may as well do something worthy of it.
