My favorite shot from my lady trip to Iceland this month. I want more lady trips in 2025!

Starting in January I will be doing a monthly Zoom office hours for paid subscribers where you can ask me anything about publishing, influencers, media, life, kids, travel, etc. The annual subscription price is only going to be $30 until 2025 and then it will go back up to $70. So it’s a great deal! Join us! I’ll be talking about how I make money as a full-time creative, what I’m doing to make my own marriage and child-rearing more of an equal endeavor and all of my thoughts on how to fix how badly social media is fucking us up!

JOIN THE COVEN

ICYMI:

Everything about my semi-glutide journey!

In praise of sweatpants jeans.

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve done a few episodes of Under the Influence meant to inspire us for the new year.

Who is sick of being a people pleaser? What if women just stopped helping all the time?

How to pivot in 2025!!!

How to be a likable badass!

I’m writing this from the Catskills where we had two days of glorious snow that immediately melted and left us with muddy stick season to take us into the new year. My takeaway from this? Enjoy the snow before it melts friends because soon it will just be mud!!!

I don’t love resolutions, but I do love lists. Every year I make a list of what I want more of and what I want less of. It feels less punitive less resolutions.

Things I want more of in 2025:

  1. Spontaneous present buying for no occasion whatsoever.

  2. Unplanned hangs on couches.

  3. Random phone calls to long distance friends.

  4. Reading books that are already on my shelves.

  5. Saying no to things that burn me out.

  6. Swimming

  7. Kid cuddles

  8. telling kids when I am out of cuddles

  9. making stuff instead of buying stuff

  10. learning new things

  11. watching dumb movies and not feeling guilty

  12. sweatpants jeans and soft clothes

  13. dance parties

  14. surprises

But we need to get rid of some shit too! (Plus a book giveaway after the pay wall)

Join us! You won’t regret it.
