I say this all the time: why are Disney movie so fucking scary? Seriously. There’s always a terrifying witch or evil sorcerer with creepy evil henchmen. The mother of the main protagonist is almost always dead. Usually the dad too. So many dead parents.

There’s a lot of danger and fear and stress. TOO MUCH OF IT.
