I totally agree with asking for what you really want. I have found, that especially with Mother's Day, I spend so much money in the spring on gardening (my favorite hobby) (like, a lot of money every spring on all the plants and seeds and chickens and this year I made a pond garden) that I told my husband, all my plants are my gifts. Do not even bother with a gift. I'm going to the garden center by myself. That's all I need.
As a retail salesperson, I highly recommend sending links, pics, to your significant other. A man came in today with a list, one item ‘cardholder wallet’ was hard to parse. He ended up going with fragrance, another item on the list. Dream big: there were two serious fine jewelry pieces and concert tickets on the list too!
Have you ever had Cire Trudon candles? They are the best I've ever had. The Moroccan mint one is beautiful (I can't remember the exact name, but it's definitely a mint smell), but they are all incredible. Very expensive, but they last forever, and totally natural. Baobab candles are also wonderful! There is one that smells like the sea that I love. Also, look up Karen Mabon pjs! They are English, and the prints and colours are gorgeous. Also quite expensive but just go look because they're so pretty. My daughter, Olivia Bossert, shoots their campaigns, so I know!!! Olivia also did the cover and illustrations of my poetry book (so perfect Mother's Day gift if ever as it's a mother/daughter collaboration!!) For shoes, if you have complicated feet like me, SoleBliss are fantastic. I have a terrible time finding shoes that fit my big and wide feet, and these are my new crush!!!
I'm tempted to order another pair of those Rag & Bone sweatpants, too. Are they a lighter fabric for summer? I've been living in the pair I bought a few months ago.

I love this for you

Enough with the shopping list!
Take care, Francesca xx
Now I want all of these things
Did you go look?!
Cosign Cire Trudon, esp Moroccan mint! They're also so pretty--I have one on a shelf that's completely burned down, it's just nice to look at
Guys I totally reuse candle holders for kid pens and crayons and small plants
